An actor Pugovkin Mikhail Ivanovich (a real surname is Pugonkin) was born on 13 July 1923 in the village Rameshki, Chuhlomskiy uyezd, Kostromskaya province, in that very uyezd, where now there is a famous Meryanskaya road. So called a part of an old highway St. Petersburg-Yekaterinburg, that passed through the centre of the Kostromskaya province. A real surname of the actor is even sounded in Meryanski language – Pugorkin. He became Pugovkin when he came to Moscow.
