International Summer Language School for Finno-Ugric Youth will be held in Komi-Permyak area of Perm Krai during 1-15 August 2010.

School organizers: Perm regional non-governmental organization Roza Vetrov

The project is supported by Perm Krai Governor’s Administration, Ministry of Perm Krai for Komi-Permyak area affairs and Civic Engagement Institute non-profit organization

The purpose of International Summer Language School for Finno-Ugric Youth project is to promote Komi-Permyak language and culture and create non-formal partnerships and unions in the youth field of Finno-Ugric countries and areas.

The School will work in the following directions:

•          Komi-Permyak language basic course;

•          Ethnographic expeditions;

•          Creativity workshops;

•          Entertainment: the V KAMWA Ethnofuturistic Festival, Perm Museum of Modern Art, meeting interesting people.

To become a participant of International Summer School for Finno-Ugric Youth you need to fill in the application form and send it to the project coordinator until 15 July 2010 (the application form is attached).

Number of School participants: 30

School organizers cover expenses for accommodation, food, education programme and entertainment. We can also consider the possibility of partial covering of participants’ transportation expenses.

Organization fee: 1000 Roubles (25 Euro).
