The Minister of National Policy in the Komi Republic Valeriy Korobov and the first deputy of the regular representative of the Komi Republic Igor Mikhel had a meeting with the director of the department of interregional relations of the regional development of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhuravsky.

At the meeting on the 16th of July, they discussed the realization of the interregional initiatives in the Komi Republic and the ways of providing financial support to some projects, including the 15th festival of TV pictures and programs “The Finno-Ugric World” and “The Finno-Ugric Internet-Radio”.

These projects on the development of interethnic relations and forming tolerance and interregional cooperation are included into preparation and organization of the celebration devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Komi Republic. These projects are of great social and economic importance for the Republic.
