Natural fires of Russia come nearer to borders of Finland. On Tuesday fires have been found out at carrying out by frontier troops of patrol flight, YLE reports.
On the Russian side the district Sjarkisalmi in Parikkala that near to southeast border of Finland burns. Fires are found out at height of the city of Ilomantsi too. The given fires extend a smoke considerable quantity to Finland, therefore visibility in those districts now the bad.
Rescue services in frontier areas together with Boundary protection take measures on a case of distribution of forest fires from Russia to Finland.
Wood burns in Russia, in particular, in 4 kilometres from the Finnish border in adjacent area with the Finnish municipality Parikkala. By a fire it is captured about 1 hectare of wood. The fire from the Finnish territory separates lake Tjurjanjarvi.
Besides, wood burns on a border Russian side at level of Finnish municipality Ilomantsi.
The Finnish frontier guards count that their Russian colleagues will notify in time the Finnish authorities on threat of fires, according to available interstate arrangements.
