Manifesto interviewed 150 writers of Finland’s most popular blogs covering fashion, beauty, design and food.

According to the study, bloggers increasingly want to be paid for their work. Over 40 percent of the study's participants claimed they earned money from blogging. Last year, the number was around 20 percent. On average, bloggers reported earning 300 euros per month.

Companies are also more frequently sending free samples to bloggers in an effort to get them to write about their products.

Over 40 percent of Finns say they frequent various blogs.
