My fiancee is a red head from the Former Soviet Union, specifically the Ukraine.  Her mother is a redhead, as is her mother's mother and even her mother's mother's mother.   She is not an Udmurt, but it is possible that there is Finno-Ugric blood in her, as there is in many Russians.

My older sister and my grandmother and any others in my family are also redheads.  But, we are from northern France, so the influence is more likely Celtic and Germanic.
