The governor of the Leningrad region ranked to extremist the Izhora organization from the Kingisepp area

The governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko called two organizations undermining bases of peaceful life of the region and the country.

As the correspondent “47news” reports, at a meeting of council for the international relations the governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko announced about necessity to pay attention to the extremist organizations working at the territory of the region.

"We have small groups of citizens who aren't inhabitants of the Leningrad region, are trying to have an influence on minds, opinions and acts of inhabitants", - he told.

Drozdenko considers as such organization of "Shokla" (apparently, it is about the small nation Izhora  "Shoykul") which is based in Vistino and Ust-Luga of the Kingisepp area and, according to the governor, carries out the activity focused on undermining interests of the Russian state.

Also Drozdenko considers that "Ingriya" has chauvinistic character and its only purpose is undermining interests of the Russian state.  "Ingriya" wants to engender doubt concerning the uniform of the Russian state and supports a crazy idea about creation of the "Ingriya" state. But what organization specifically the governor talked about, unfortunately, it isn't specified.

"We have to speak about it in order that the situation of 2004 didn't repeat when sprouts of fascism and chauvinism in Ukraine arose.

We treated it quietly, considering that the multinational Ukraine will manage, hoping that it’s the temporary illness and it will be overcome, and everything will be as it should be", - the head of the region told.
