The question about Finno-Ugric cooperation is very important for Hungary, especially in the light of the fact that the sixth World congress of Finno-Ugric peoples is planned to conduct in Siofok. The head of Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department of the Ministry for foreign affairs of Hungary Ernő Keskeny said about that fact to Media Center FINUGOR.RU.

“We are preparing to this event, - noted E. Keskeny – we are working at budget. It is a very important move of our collaboration, not only cultural, but also economical”. Hungary’s government should also make an official decision on the place and date of holding the congress. “At the moment Siofok is only suggestion for International consultative committee of Finno-Ugric people’s part”, - stated the diplomat.
