Authorities of  the Murmansk region forbade the kola sami people to raise the flags in the International day  of the Saami. The saami people threatened that come out in pickets, tells the vice-president of the Saami parliament of the Kola peninsula Andrey Danilov.

"On February 6, the sami community of the whole world celebrates the most important for the saami people, the feast of the International day of unity of the Saami. On this day, has a tradition: to raise the sami flag from the building of the mayoralty of Murmansk on Lenin, 75. But in the year under various pretexts have been denied in this procedure" - he said.

A.Danilov explained that the refusal to hold a  flag raising in front of the building of the mayoralty of Murmansk Sami community intends to hold solitary pickets in the city.
