The president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed on June, 7th the decree «About the Council at the president of the Russian Federation on international relations». The creation of the new body is aimed at the perfection of a state policy in the field of international relations, - the press-service of the head of the state informs. Council is consultative and advisory body at the president of the Russian Federation, formed with an aim of guarantee of interaction of federal and regional authorities, local governments, and public associations, scientific and other organizations by consideration of the questions connected with the realization of the state national policy. Council purposes include consideration of conceptual bases, the purposes and problems of the state national policy of the Russian Federation, definition of ways, forms and stages of its realization; discussion of practice of realization of a national policy of the Russian Federation; preparation of offers to the president of Russia on the definition of priority directions of a national policy.
The chairman of Council is the president of the Russian Federation. The representatives of the people of the Ural language family of the Russian Federations are the chairman of Council of Association of the Finno-Ugric people of the Russian Federation Peter Tultaev (Moksha) and the president of Association of the radical small people of the North, Siberia and the Far East, the chairman of the Duma of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Sergey Harjuchi (Nenets).
