Written records of 20 Votes’ fairytales were placed in Internet at the end of December by the enthusiast from St. Petersburg Maxim Kuznecov. He imparted it to the media centre FINUGOR.

According to M. Kuznecov, the majority of the latter fairytales being placed at the site were published earlier in the book of the eminent expert in the Finno-Ugric peoples Tartu Paul Ariste “Vadja muinasjutte” (est. “Votes fairytales”. 1962), the texts of some of them were taken from newspapers.

“All fairytales are placed in developed by myself Votes Cyrillic alphabet” – specified the enthusiast. However, according to him, the project of the Votes Cyrillic alphabet placed at the site is out of date. “It is important that written records of the fairytales are required to be edited, - underlined he. - The site is developing and it is regularly replenished with new materials, among which there will be other Votes fairytales”.
