From the end of January till the beginning of February 2012 the Izhevsk Technological M. T. Kalashnikov University received the students’ delegation from the Technological University of the town Pech (Hungary), the newspaper “Students truth” reported. Nine students presented different specialties and departments of their institute of higher education – construction, architecture, informational technologies, electro technology.
During two weeks the foreign students saw the Izhevsk State University and its’ curriculums. They explored also the possibilities to take the master or graduate internship in Izhevsk State University And, of course, during the visit the acquaintance with Izhevsk students and also with the culture and sights of the Udmurtia played the great part.
On finishing the two weeks’ visit young people met with the pro-rector of international work and accreditation Izhevsk State University Alexander Yelenskiy. In particular, he reminded that the Pech Technological University is one of the best European universities, and Izhevsk State Universityhad long-standing business relations. The Vice-rector of the Pech University Robert Gabriel and the professor Jozheph Orban had statuses of the honorary professors of IzGTU. In conclusion A. Yelenstiy wished that those meetings would be continued, because many things united the Finno-Ugric peoples of Hungary and Udmurtia, first of all propinquity of culture and language.
