The Red Book about the culture of Yurga’s nationalities will be published in Hanty-Mansijskij automous district (Yugra). Such unusual name will be given for the catalog of the intangible objects of cultural legacy of Yugra’s nationalities. The provision about the catalog was approved on the session of HMAD’s government in 26 September.

The customs, traditions and rites, the legends, songs and dances, the sacred objects and instruments of nationalities living in this district will be included in The Red Book. Besides, the list of the cultural legacy’s objects will be added sacred and memorable places.

The creation of this catalog permits to receive spacious informative base of cultural artifacts. The access for this base will receive each yugorian with the help of the internet. All data will be adopted for the placing in the territorial informative system.

Nadezhda Kaznacheva, the acting director of The Cultural Department of Yugra said: “The hall basic work will be organized by the creative Association “Culture” because the association is occupied by the preservation of native culture and the work with the agencies of leisure types.”
