The Komi Republican Academy of State Service and Administration (KRASS) has signed a cooperation agreement with the institute Collegium Fenno-Ugricum in the city Badacsonytomaj (Hungary). Cooperation with the Hungarian partner in particular will improve the training quality of students studying in KRASS on the course «Foreign Regional».
As the provost of the Academy for scientific work Vyacheslav Antonov told to mediacentre FINUGOR, KRASS's guide intended to find partners in Hungary, with whom it is possible to interact as through scientific cooperation, and also as terms of training experts. «We found a counter offer from the head of Fenno-Ugricum, a famous-known professor, finno-ugrian János Pusztai, and in September, the representatives of the Academy of State Service went to Hungary, where they signed a cooperation agreement and discussed some interesting for us points. Now we await the return visit of our new partners,»- he told.
The agreement provides a students' internship (undergraduate and graduate) of the direction "Foreign Regional" in the Collegium Fenno-Ugricum, which is located in Badacsonytomaj on the shore of Lake Balaton. A few years ago, János Pusztai began to implement a program of Hungarologia’s courses for students and young activists of the Finno-Ugric movement from Russia: in Badacsonytomaj they are annually studying Hungarian language within 2-3 weeks.
The teachers of KRASS will also be able to undergo traineeship in Hungary. «Russian Ministry of Education also requires from teachers of Russian universities internships abroad. Now we are able to realize this opportunity, thanks to our Hungarian partners - V. Antonov explained - And the Hungarians have the same situation - it also will be interesting for them to come to us for the traineeship».
"In addition, Hungarian scholars and teachers will conduct classes for the students of the Academy in remote mode", - he added. During a trip to Hungary the representatives of KRASS took part in the research seminar on terminological work and use the languages of Finno-Ugric people ofRussian Federation in educational process. The experience of realization the project on preparation school terminological dictionaries on Komi, Mari, Moksha, Udmurt and Erzya languages, implemented in 2010-2011 under the direction of Marina Fedina, who now heads the center of innovative language Technologies in the structure of KRASS, was praised by the Hungarian linguists. “Particularly it is pleasantly to note that the highest praise has received dictionaries on Komi languages, prepared by specialists of our republic", - V. Antonov emphasized.
According to his words, previously there was a conversation with Hungarian finno-ugrians about the future project of preparation educational and teaching aids on Finno-Ugric languages of people inRussia. Also, according to the words of provost, it was able to discuss the possible involvement of partners in the research project, connected with the implementation inRussia a federal purpose-oriented program on fortification of international peace and accord. «This project coincide with our interests on the development of Komi language, which is the one of priority inclinations in the work of Academy as a high school, that provides the Republic of Komi specialists», - V. Antonov noted.
