The Komi Republican Academy of State Service (KRASS) received a donation from the Embassy of Finland in the Russia, the educational and scientific literature for the training the students on specialty "Foreign Regional." As the rector of Info centre of KRASS Nina Nesterova told, the management of the Academy came to working with the embassies of Hungary, Finland and Estonia in Moscow as part of the program "Foreign Regional", which provides training in the walls of the university the specialists with knowledges of the Finno-Ugric languages, as well as for the exchange of information. As a result, the first literature was sent to the Academy by the embassy of Suomi: books on the history of Finland, the Finnish-Russian relations, on Finnish society and the economy - in Russian and Finnish languages. "These publications are unique, and in Russia you will not find them. They are published abroad and in our country they come only as a few copies - in the library of embassies and cultural centers ", - said N. Nesterova

According to her words, connections with diplomatic agencies of the Finno-Ugric countries leads KRASS on contacts with scientific institutions in these countries. "Our school in the embassies are now supervised by certain employees. Expansion of connections has led to the fact that it was appeared the idea of creating a number of network of Finno -Ugric projects with the Academy, related to education, languages, issues of bilingualism , information technology in this context, the scope of management. There are real prospects for interregional laboratory information support for the functioning of the Finno-Ugric languages, operating in the Academy, as well as the development direction "Foreign Regional ", - interlocutor explained. As the rector of KRASS highlighted, in the near future in high school the literature from the embassies of Hungary and Estonia is expected.
