The State Duma will consider the amendments in the law on general principles of indigenous not-numerous communities of the North, Siberia and the Russian Far East, Klerk.ru informs. 

As the authors of the bill highlight, now legislation provides a number of privileges for this category of persons. The Federal law "About fishery and preservation of water biological resources" for ensuring maintaining a traditional way of life, implementation the traditional economic activity, ensures a simplified and priority access to the use of living aquatic bioresources. However, in the specified regions there is uncontrolled intensive economic activity of the enterprises and the organizations of various forms of ownership which using gaps in the legislation takes advantages from production of water bioresources in the mercenary purposes.

The bill eliminates this possibility.
