During the Day of Sami nation the University canteen in town Kristiansand (Norway) prepared unsuccessful joke, printed the posters with playful text “The Day of Sami nation  - fresh fried Sami – ten crowns for one”( “SAMENES DAG – NYSTEKTE LAPPER KUN 10”). The Russian web-site in Norway told about it citing on Nettavisen.no.

A lot of buyers didn’t like the joke. The student Trude Seterstrand told “I didn’t know to cry or to laugh. I think they joked this way because of thoughtlessness.” She placed the photo of this poster in the Internet and people began to write angry comments in address of University canteen.

The administration of canteen decided to take this poster away and clarified that they create jocular tags and posters for the products of Holiday traditionally. But once they crossed the border.

The staff of the canteen regrets about this incident and promises not to celebrate this holiday this way next year.
