Orbán: “Hungary cannot host any more migrants”

Migrants should be “exported from rather than imported to” Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in Brussels, ahead of an EU summit on the topic. About it portal Politics.hu reports.

Hungary is against the introduction of European migrant quotas, Orbán said, arguing that receiving migrants should be voluntary. Refugees should be helped “in the name of Christian charity”, but Hungary must protect its people against economic migrants arriving in the hope of a better life, Orbán insisted. “We are people with hearts, but we have brains, too, and the two should be in balance,” he added. “We need to be sober, and cannot succumb to the temptation of nice words or compassion,” Orbán said.
