The government of Russia will consider a question of the distribution of 228 million rubles between 28 regions of the country. Money will be allocated for development indigenous not-numerous people of the North, Siberia and the Far East, "Natsaktsent" informs.
The interbudgetary transfers are provided in the federal budget for support of economic and social development of the regions inhabited by small indigenous people. The financial help is aimed at the development of traditional branches of managing, medicine, education, infrastructure and culture, including the carrying out of the ethnocultural actions.
In the message of the cabinet it is noted that transfers are provided to regions where representatives of indigenous people lead a traditional life and are engaged in traditional types of economic activity. Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation plans to raise salaries of the not numerous people. By 2020 the income of the representative of indigenous people will have to reach 22 thousand 800 rubles.
