In Suomi in the Sami centre “Sayos” (Inari) in December 2012 three new mathematics textbooks were published in Inari Sami. “The editions are prepared for the first and the second forms” – said the Sami parliament in Finland. 

In the parliament they take into consideration the publication of new textbooks will improve the situation with teaching in North-Sami that will be finished at the beginning of 2013. The issue of new mathematics textbooks in the Sami languages began in 2011, they are translations of textbooks of the mathematical line WSOY into the Sami languages. The new textbooks in Inari Sami were published by the first-rate published house of Finland Sanoma Pro. The books are designated for studying during autumn and spring half-years of the school year.
