A Finno-Ugric ethnopark appears in the oldest settlement of Yb in the Komi Republic. It will include such existing ethnographic and historical-cultural objects as traditional housing, open air museum of wooden architecture and museum of regional studies of Yb settlement.
Moreover, a few new objects are to appear in Yb, among them congress hall, amusement park for children, playing field for open-air merrymaking, sculpture garden etc. Additionally, the Finno-Ugric Toy Museum, straw-hat theatre, interactive Archaeological Museum of Chud Legends and paleontological museum.
The guests of ethno park will be offered accommodation in mini-hotels and guest homes, and a few restaurants, bars and caffees as well. Construction of the ethno park begins in 2010.
