In the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation the details of the World congress of the Finno-Ugric people were discussed

During a working meeting of the deputy head of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with the influential Finnish politician — the chairman of society "Finland — Russia" Paula Lekhtomyaki and the secretary general of society Meryey Hannus  the current situation in the sphere of entrance and outbound tourism in Russia and Finland, questions of development of the Russian-Finnish humanitarian cooperation, and also the program and the course of preparation of the XVI Russian-Finnish cultural forum, questions of carrying out in Finland the VII World congress of the Finno-Ugric people in 2016 were discussed, the site of the ministry reports. On these activities, the projects of Russia and Finland in different directions of the modern culture and art will be provided. The exhibition of a traditional suit of the Finno-Ugric people from meeting of Russian Museum of Ethnography can become one of them.
"The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation develops new programs of cooperation with our neighbors as five of eleven Russian regions in the north of our country are boundary, it is, in particular, about tourism" — the deputy minister of culture of Russia Alla Manilova declared during a meeting with the Finnish delegation.
