Pyotr Tultayev declared about the shortage of teachers of the native languages in kindergartens, the "National Accent" reports.
The chairman of Association of the Finno-Ugric people of Russia, Pyotr Tultayev, at a joint meeting of Councils on the international relations and Russian language declared about shortage of teachers of the native languages at elementary school and kindergartens.
In particular, he told that in many pedagogical higher education institutions the seсtions of training of elementary school teachers with knowledge of the native languages were closed in connection with introduction of new educational standards. Besides, the head of AFUP (the Association of Finno-Ugris People) among other problems highlighted the support with textbooks in national languages and absence of programs of training.
Tultayev expressed belief in need of courses "Preschool education in the conditions of Russian-national or national-Russian bilingualism" and "Primary education in the conditions of Russian-national or national-Russian bilingualism", and also in training of teachers of the native language and researchers in postgraduate study and doctoral studies.
Earlier at the same meeting the Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the dependence of unity of the Russian people on mastering, status and distribution of Russian, having emphasized its leading role in the country as means of international communication.
