Philip Nikitich Ardeev - was born on the island Kolguev, the Nenets Autonomous Area. His father, Nikita Timofeevich Ardeev, was the last private trader in the sphere of deer farming.
He worked as a teacher in schools of the Nenets Autonomous Area more than twenty five years.
He also worked in Khoreiverskaya geological survey expedition. The next expedition, in which Philip Ardeev took part was connected with research on the preservation of traditions and customs of Nenets people in the Yamal - Nenets Autonomous District. From 2000 up to 2003 he participated in the international expedition in Norway, Finland and Sweden.
