In the social network "VKontakte.ru" a page on studying the Erzya language "Modern Erza" was opened on September, 13th.  The founder and the manager of the page Paul Alyoshin informed media centre FINUGOR about this initiative.

According to him, after studying the situation connected with the operation and promotion of the Erzya language in social networks, he decided to create a separate page devoted to the native language.  "Earlier a group "Erzyan kel" was organized, but it was already clear that this is more appropriate for a Public Group. Moksha, Udmurt, Mari have similar pages." - P.Aleshin said.  

New page attracts visitors with images with inscriptions (or signatures) on Erzya language – on Latin and Cyrillic - with translation into Russian. Similar approaches (pictures with «titles») are used on a page of humor "Statust Erzyan kelse" (status on the Erzya language).
