The first book of besermyan words in the world was published

“The dictionary of besermyan dialect of Udmurt language” was published in December 2013, the newspaper “Red banner” informs (Glazov, Udmurtia).

Sergey Antuganov, the head of Besermyan nation community is one of the lucky beggars, who first saw this unique publication. “I took this book and browsed it with excitement” – he told. Without words, it is a great work of scientists, graduate students and students of MSU, RGGU. The dictionary became the discovery in the national and cultural movement in Russia and has a great international importance.

Our friends – scientists made great affair to Besermyan nation and all, who are connected with Finno-Ugric and Turick world and who are interested in languages. During ten years the scientists gathered the material for the dictionary scrupulously. They visited the village Shamardan of Ukamensky region several times, they worked in field conditions of our area. I am glad that they reached the success.”

The edition is detailed. It will be completed by new dictionary articles. Now the scientists are working at audio accompaniment of the book. And then each who wants – can hear the amazing melody of besermyan language.
